וְגַ֡ם בְּיַד־יֵה֨וּא בֶן־חֲנָ֜נִי הַנָּבִ֗יא דְּבַר־יְהוָ֡ה הָיָה֩ אֶל־בַּעְשָׁ֨א וְאֶל־בֵּית֜וֹ וְעַ֥ל כָּל־הָרָעָ֣ה ׀ אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֣ה ׀ בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה לְהַכְעִיסוֹ֙ בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יָדָ֔יו לִהְי֖וֹת כְּבֵ֣ית יָרָבְעָ֑ם וְעַ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־הִכָּ֖ה אֹתֽוֹ׃ (פ)
C’est par l’organe de Jéhu, fils de Hanani, le prophète, que la parole de l’Éternel avait été prononcée contre Baasa et sa maison, soit à cause du mal qu’il avait fait aux yeux de l’Éternel, l’irritant par sa conduite et imitant la famille de Jéroboam, soit parce qu’il avait frappé cette dernière.

And because he had killed him [Nodov]. Since he too, committed the same sins, consequently he should not have killed him, therefore he was punished for his murder. And similarly we find, “And I will avenge the blood of Yizre’el upon the house of Yeihu,”2Hoshe’a 1:4. because they did not turn away from Achov’s ways, they were punished for his murder.
